USPEER, a rookie female group, formally severed relations with their agency barely six months after its debut.
On January 6, WM Entertainment revealed that its exclusive contract with USPEER had expired on December 31 of previous year.
The agency claimed that the decision was made after mutual debate, and that it preferred the team's long-term growth and potential over the company's immediate needs. WM Entertainment further stated that, following long conversations with previous CEO Lee Won Min, who was in charge of USPEER's production, the business was able to successfully finish discussions about the exclusive contract and trademark rights.
USPEER is likely to continue their efforts alongside Lee Won Min, who previously stepped down as CEO of WM Entertainment owing to management issues. A spokesman indicated that both parties would work closely together and give full assistance so that members may continue their activities without interruption. The statement went on to say that the corporation earnestly supports USPEER's development as an artist and encouraged fans to continue demonstrating their support.
USPEER previously achieved notoriety as Oh My Girl's junior group. Their team name symbolizes the notion of grasping the essence of the world and building a brighter future, emphasizing their goals as a next-generation female group.
