In response to rumors that Jennie and Jisoo of BLACKPINK started their own labels, YG Entertainment issued a statement.
According to a recent revelation from an exclusive media site, Jennie and Jisoo of BLACKPINK have each supposedly established a one-man agency, which they will mostly be handled by despite their continued relationships with YG Entertainment to promote with the group. Officials from YG Entertainment responded to this allegation by saying, "As of yet, there has been no confirmation made regarding the [contract] renewal and future activities of BLACKPINK."
Rosé, the sole member of BLACKPINK to date, has acknowledged her contract renewal with YG Entertainment.
