According to industry sources, on May 27th KST, BLACKPINK did a photoshoot for their future album jacket at a venue in Seoul. This is their first full-group reunion in over three years, following the release of their second full-length album, 'Born Pink', on September 16th, 2022.
The album is apparently being developed under the direct supervision of YG Entertainment's executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, who is said to be putting a lot of work into the project. The album sleeve photography is said to have been carried out on a worldwide scale, reflecting the group's international reputation.
On May 26th KST, Yang Hyun Suk hinted to the group's return on the YG blog, saying, "It seems we'll soon be able to share news about BLACKPINK's new song." Given that the jacket shot has already been done, the group is most likely planning for a full-length album release rather than simply a single.
With all four members — Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa — having successfully concluded their separate pursuits, they are anticipated to go into full-group mode and speed their preparations for the comeback.
