'2025 MAMA AWARDS' in Hong Kong face postponing in light of devastating apartment fires

According to sources, on November 27 KST, the organizers of the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' held an emergency meeting in response to the terrible Hong Kong apartment fire that broke out the day before.

As the death toll grows and the struggle against the fire continues in some of the apartment complexes, it remains unclear whether the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' will take place as planned this weekend.

If all goes as planned, the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' will be held on November 28-29 in Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium, which is around 20 kilometers from the location of the apartment fires.

When approached for a response, the awards organizers told media agencies, "We are currently investigating."

As of November 27 KST, Hong Kong authorities had verified 44 dead, 45 in serious condition, and 279 missing from the catastrophic fires. Four of the seven buildings that caught fire have been confined, while firemen are still trying to extinguish three others.
