EXO-CBX secures court order to halt INB100 agreements as Cha Ga Won's party misses court session

EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, known as the group EXO-CBX, have successfully obtained a court order to temporarily stop their exclusive contracts with their management company INB100, led by Cha Ga Won.
The Civil Division 50 of the Seoul Central District Court, under the supervision of Chief Judge Lee Sang Hoon, sided with CBX on September 15, granting their request to pause the enforcement of their exclusive agreements with INB100.
The court highlighted that INB100 was supposed to provide the artists with their agreed settlement payments as per the contract terms but failed to fulfill this obligation. Consequently, the court decided to suspend the exclusive contracts until the initial trial verdict of the main legal case.
Moreover, the court concluded that issues caused by INB100 had shattered the trust between the parties, leading to a breakdown in the essential trust foundation of the contracts. This made it challenging to maintain a standard artist-management relationship.
As per the court's decision, INB100 is forbidden from engaging in agreements with third parties against CBX's desires. Additionally, the agency is not allowed to intervene in CBX's individual entertainment ventures.
