In a recent development, a fan who was on a video call with ZEROBASEONE's Kim Ji Woong came forward to point out inconsistencies in Wake One Entertainment's statement.
On February 17, the company issued an official statement refuting the accusation that ZEROBASEONE members used swear words after ending a fan call.
According to the agency, forensic analysis of the recorded video showed that the person who uttered the profanity "ssibal" was not Kim Ji-woong, but limitations of the analysis made it difficult to determine who uttered the word. The member himself responded to the controversy personally.
However, later in the day, the fan who originally exposed the member once again refuted the latest statement, pointing out that Wake One Entertainment's earlier and later statements were inconsistent.
