The management label for Oh My Girl, WM Entertainment, issued the following statement regarding the members' exclusive contracts on May 8 KST: "Hello, this is WM Entertainment.
First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude and congratulations to Oh My Girl and their fans as they commemorate the significant occasion of the group's tenth anniversary this year.
We also want to let you know that members Yubin, Hyojung, Mimi, and Seunghee recently decided to extend their exclusive deals with WM Entertainment. The four members of Oh My Girl were once again unified in their decision to stay with WM Entertainment after deciding to renew their contracts once in 2022 based on a relationship of profound faith and trust.
Through this renewal, we are thrilled to maintain our unique bond with Oh My Girl members, and we deeply appreciate their careful consideration. Following extensive deliberation, it was determined that YooA and Arin would not be renewing their contracts.
Both YooA and Arin pledged to carry on with their group efforts as Oh My Girl, even though WM Entertainment will no longer oversee their separate endeavors. We also want to use this occasion to express our gratitude to YooA and Arin for their ten years of collaboration, and we wish them luck in their future pursuits.
Additionally, WM Entertainment promises to do everything in its power to enable Oh My Girl to excel as individuals in a variety of fields in addition to continuing their group activities. As Oh My Girl members get ready for a new phase of their careers, both individually and collectively, we also urge the fans for their love and support."
