Wonwoo of SEVENTEEN will enlist in the military as the group's second member.
Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN's agency, declared on the fan community website Weverse on March 5th KST that Wonwoo will start his required military service on April 3rd KST.
Wonwoo will therefore miss all events after his enlistment, such as the group's next fan meetup in Japan and the "Tecate Pal Norte 2025" festival. He will, meanwhile, continue to interact with fans via pre-recorded material and take part in the "Carat Land" concerts on March 20 and 21.
"There will be no official events on the day of his enlistment," the agency added. We respectfully request that fans avoid using the alternate service website. Kindly leave Wonwoo a note on Weverse. Following Jeonghan, who started training on September 26 of last year and is now employed as a public service worker, Wonwoo is the second member of SEVENTEEN to join.
