On September 15, Woozi will report to an Army recruit training facility, where he will get basic training before being assigned to his unit to serve as an active duty soldier.
He is the third member of Seventeen to complete military duty. Jeonghan began his alternative duty as a public service worker in September 2023, while Wonwoo did the same in April. Woozi will be joined by Hoshi, who will enlist the next day, September 16, as an active-duty soldier.
Woozi was recently seen attending Seventeen's global tour concert at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 14. Just days before enlisting, he emerged with a newly shorn head, attracting the attention of admirers. Hoshi, who is also preparing for enlistment, showed off his new appearance, while Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who are now performing alternative service, were in the crowd. Fans were overjoyed when the nine members reunited for photographs following the show.
