This week, rising boy group RIIZE will surprise fans to a series of dazzling performances on YouTube and at big music venues.
On May 21st at 9 PM KST, RIIZE will appear on Mnet Digital Studio's M2 YouTube channel as part of the 'MOVE TO PERFORMANCE' series. They will then perform their latest title single "Fly Up" on Mnet's 'M Countdown' (May 22), KBS2's 'Music Bank' (May 23), MBC's 'Show! Music Core' (May 24), and SBS's 'Inkigayo' (May 25).
The title track of RIIZE's first full album, "Fly Up," is a dance tune inspired by 1950s rock and roll. Its powerful beat and vast choral harmonies embody the group's concept of breaking down barriers through music and dance to connect with people all across the world.
The performance was created by world-renowned choreographer Nick Bass, K-pop choreographer Choi Young Joon, and dance team ChillLit. The stage combines 'young musical' energy with vivid member character moments, intricate formations, and a distinctive "flying" arm movement that echoes the song's title and meaning.
With this return, RIIZE has dominated both home and worldwide charts. 'Fly Up' just reached No. 3 on Melon's TOP100, No. 1 on HOT100, No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart, and No. 1 on VIBE's rising chart. Their album topped Hanteo's daily album chart, QQ Music's digital album sales list in China, which was certified Platinum, and AWA Japan's real-time rising chart.
