RESCENE has provided 50 million KRW (about 36,000 USD) to Geoje City citizens who have been devastated by excessive rains.

According to Geoje City, RESCENE donated on August 19 in the name of its fans, REMINE, to support flood recovery efforts and assist displaced locals in returning to their everyday life.

Fans also joined the cause. On the same day, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association set up a fundraising site specifically for REMINE. The campaign apparently raised about 60 million KRW.

Geoje City is the hometown of RESCENE member Won Yi. A video of Won Yi and fellow member Minami driving about Geoje City and joyously yelling, "Geoje, yahoo!" got considerable attention.
