Oh My Girl's YooA signs with a new agency and begins her acting career

YooA from Oh My Girl has acquired a new agency as she formally begins her acting career.

On June 2, Saram Entertainment announced that YooA had inked an exclusive contract with the agency. "YooA is an artist with boundless potential and ability. We're thrilled to be a part of her acting adventure and will completely support her as she pursues her career in a variety of professions," the business said.

YooA, who made her debut with Oh My Girl in 2015, rose to prominence with hits like "Secret Garden," "Dolphin," "Nonstop," and "Dun Dun Dance." She also made a great impression as a solo artist with her 2020 debut album "Bon Voyage," followed by singles "Selfish" and "Borderline."

YooA will also make her acting debut in the upcoming film 'Project Y' (working title), where she will play a character who seeks to steal gold bars in a desperate bid to escape a harsh world, giving viewers a peek of a brave new side of her.
