NCT Dream's Jisung is confirmed for 'Crash 2,' taking on his first acting role since his idol breakthrough

Jisung has confirmed his presence in ENA's drama 'Crash' Season 2, his first acting endeavor since his debut as an idol, according to reports from January 14. 'Crash' is Korea's first drama on traffic crime investigations, premiering in May 2024. The series follows the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (T.C.I.) as they search for criminals on the road. Jisung will appear in Season 2 alongside returning cast members Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, and Heo Sung Tae.

Jisung stars in the drama as Ji Dae Se, the T.C.I team's youngest recruit. With his towering physique and impressive graphics, the figure is dubbed the "Idol of Traffic Police." Ji Dae Se, who is very adept in action owing to his taekwondo and hapkido training, is also shown as a multifaceted character with profound emotional wounds. Jisung worked as a young actor before making his NCT DREAM debut in 2016. He starred in the drama 'Deep Rooted Tree' and the film 'Unbowed'. However, 'Crash 2' is his first acting job since beginning his career as an idol.
