YG Entertainment officially announced on December 29 KST that the members of BLACKPINK will not be promoting individually under the label.
In the news statement issued by the agency on this day,
"Some time ago, YG Entertainment renewed BLACKPINK's contracts for the team's promotions as a group. We have now come to an agreement to not sign contracts for the members' individual promotions.
YG Entertainment promises to support BLACKPINK's group activities with all available resources, while also cheering on the members' individual activities with a warm heart.

Prior to now, Jennie made an announcement about her new beginning at her own record company, OA (ODDATELIER). The other members of BLACKPINK have not yet provided more details about their respective plans for 2024. Industry experts speculate that Jisoo is looking for chances to further her acting career, while Lisa is rumored to be in talks with an international agency about signing a contract.
